Activities of KeSEMaT on July

Semarang, Central Java. On July 2007, KeSEMaT had conducted and followed many activities such as: (1) Mangrove survey and research in two areas i.e. Sidoarjo, East Java and Muara Angke, Jakarta (24 June-10 July); (2) National Seminar of Advertising in Town Hall of Semarang (14 July 2007); (3) Shore's Edge of Fisheries-Nature Society (PALAKA) of UNDIP (14-15 July 2007); (4) Meeting of General Assembly (DPR) of Indonesian Republic (RI) with Regency of Jepara including its people (14 July 2007); (5) Visitation of Volunteer Corps (KSR) of UNDIP (15 July 2007).

In (1), KeSEMaT represented by Indah Kurniani (DP) doing mangrove research which had aim to give prevention to ponds by doing mangrove re-plantation. It was Department of Marine and Fisheries (DKP) project. 

Meanwhile, in (2) R. S. Bayu Mangkurat (MENWEBNET) and Intan Rahmawati (Member) attended National Seminar called Advertising in Contest: Re-checking Indonesian Advertisement by Student Society (BEM) of UNDIP. There were speakers from advertising-experts from Central Java.

Next (3), Shore's Edge by PALAKA was conducting two days started from Roban-Batang to Sigandu. KeSEMaT's represented by Dian Puspitasari (MENKEU) was gathering together with 20 participants.

Then (4), KeSEMaT's representatives Isna Bahtiar (MENSEK) and M. Khairus Said (MENWIRA) was also attending Meeting of DPR RI with Regency of Jepara including its people followed by 50 participants such as staff of Jepara regency, DPR RI, Indonesian Nuclear Bureau (BATAN), NGO Marem, people of Jepara, KeSEMaT and Wapalhi, discussing about nuclear energy.

Last activity (5), there were visitation from KSR UNDIP to KeSEMaT Office. Twenty members of KSR was following presentation about management of KeSEMaT by Minister, President, DP and DK KeSEMaT. It also has aim to among KeSEMaT and KSR in the future. [<]
