KeSEMaTsite - Conservation, Education, Research and Documentation of Mangrove

Jepara, Central Java - KeSEMaT was trusted by Dimas Hokka (student from high school (SMA) of Theresiana Semarang) to assist his environment documentary contest conducted by New South Wales University, Australia.

Shooting conducted by two day (20 - 21 January 2007) in three areas such as Teluk Awur, Ujung Piring and Keling which is all represent Jepara Regency.

Member team consists of 10 people from KeSEMaT and Theresiana. KeSEMaT deputized by Aris Priyono (DK), Arief Marsudi Harjo ( DP), M. Ichwan Dwi Cahyo, Zaenul Yasni (Alumnus) and Faradhian Fahmi (Member).

This documentary is about impact of steam power (PLTU) development in Jepara. It showed mangrove destruction because of PLTU contamination.

Furthermore, it also given by comments from community around, UNDIP lecturers and also environmental activist from Australia concerning impact from PLTU operation. [<]
