Research of Coastal Environment in DKP Gondol, Bali

Gondol, Bali. In the year of 2007, Department of Fisheries (DKP) Bali will conduct researches of fisheries (survey of coastal environment including mariculture) in Bay Pegametan, Bali.

This activity was started with surveys including chemist-physic, heavy metal, ebb, bathymetry, and coastal environmental concerning impact from hatchery activity. It divided two phases i.e. field sampling and laboratory analysis. Envy team of DKP consists of researcher such as Dr. Adi Hanafi, Wawan S., Johan Risandi, Reagan S., and Putu Eka.

Two members of KeSEMaT: Dhira Khurniawan (MENKOMSI) and R. S. Bayu Mangkurat (MENWEBNET), had opportunity to follow this activity. From 12 March until 4 April 2007, they follow surveys of physics-chemist parameter (DO, BOD, TSS, nitrate, phosphate, salinities, ebb, waving, heavy metal content, and condition of coastal environment) in Bay Pegametan. Furthermore, they also sampling water and sediment in Gondol. [<]
