KeSEMaT Had Conducted Mangrove Project
in Central Java - Banten |

Semarang,
Central Java.
Two KeSEMaTERS i.e. Isna
Bahtiar (DP) and Agus Susanto (Alumnus) had conducted mangrove project
in Central Java - Banten in June until August 2008. They was surveying
vegetation, distribution and composition of mangrove in its areas. It
was KeSEMaT and Department of Marine and Fisheries projects.

Mangrove Campaign for The Fishers in
Pemalang |

Pemalang,
Central Java.
On Augustus, 21 2008, KeSEMaT
and Department of Marine and Fisheries of Central Java (DKP PEMPROV
JATENG)
was doing mangrove campaign to the fishers in Pesantren Village -
Pemalang. It was
mangrove program to increase the capacity of fishers implementing
mangrove silvovisery for their pond. It started at 6 AM - 6 PM.

The Result of International Workcamp of
IIWC and KeSEMaT

Central Java.
On
Augustus, 28 2008, The International Workcamp (Workcamp) organized by Indonesia International Workcamp (IIWC)
and KeSEMaT was ended. Workcamp was conducted in ten days from 15 - 28 Augustus
2008 in Mangkang Semarang.

KeSEMaT was held mangrove expo in Campus of Fisheries and Marine Science (FPIK)
Diponegoro University (UNDIP),
Tembalang Semarang. It was the first phase of student orientation in
FPIK UNDIP.

KeSEMaTERS Became The Winner of BAYER and ALTECH Awards

Semarang,
Central Java.
The Two of KeSEMaTERS i.e.
Muhamad Ikhsan Sri Hartadi (Ikhsan) and R. S. Bayu Mangkurat (Bayu), had
succeeded achieving their achievement in Regional and International
competition. Ikhsan had become the winner of Bayer Young Environmental
Envoy (BYEE) held by PT. Bayer Indonesia. Meanwhile, Bayu was the
champion of Altech International Young Scientist Awards (AIYSA) held by
Altech International.
