Workshop of Mangrove Rehabilitation OISCA

Demak, Central Java. In June, 18 2007, KeSEMaT was attending workshop held by OISCA Indonesia, which had themed "Conserving Mangrove Rehabilitation Areas for Prosperous Community Livelihood".

This workshop conducted on SDN Bedono 1 Demak and attended by many stake holders such as Demak Regency, OISCA Indonesia, Department of Marine and Fisheries (DKP) Jakarta, Diponegoro University (UNDIP), Indonesian Mangrove Society and NGOs of Central Java.

KeSEMaT represented by Muhamad Ikhsan S. H. (President), Sapto Pamungkas (MENPORSI), Aris Priyono (DK), Pramitha Apriliani, Sunanto K. P., and Windy Indra Ardiansyah (Member), had explained their mangrove experiences to workshop's participants and Bedono's community.

Workshop was held from 8.3 AM until 4.30 PM and resulted some recommendations likes community and stake holder would be joining together to save Bedono Village from abrasion by conducted mangrove re-plantation. [<]
